Apply For An Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)!

Form W-7 ITIN Application Service
We are Certifying Acceptance Agents authorized by the Internal Revenue Service ("IRS") to help US residents and US non-residents (including their spouses and dependents) to apply for an individual taxpayer identification number ("ITIN"). An ITIN number is a federal tax ID number used by the IRS and the Department of the Treasury to correctly and efficiently identify its taxpayers and to process U.S. tax returns. It is nine (9) digits long, and is issued in the following format like a Social Security Number ("SSN"): XXX-XX-XXXX. ITIN numbers begin with the number nine (9) and have a seven (7) or eight (8) as the fourth digit (9XX-7X-XXXX or 9XX-8X-XXXX).
An IRS ITIN is only issued to individuals who are ineligible to obtain a SSN from the Social Security Administration ("SSA"), but also require an IRS tax number to file a United States tax return and/or make tax payments according to the Internal Revenue Code ("IRC").
Generally speaking, the IRS only issues an ITIN number to individuals who are filing an IRS tax return to recover over-deducted withholding taxes or have another filing requirement. Unless one of a few exceptions are met, every Form W-7 ITIN application must be accompanied by a valid US tax return.

Using An IRS Acceptance Agent To Get An ITIN Number
We have entered into a partnership agreement with the IRS as a Certifying Acceptance Agent and thus are authorized to certify the documentation for an ITIN applicant to prove his/her identity and foreign status. A current passport, for example, would satisfy both requirements. By using our ITIN application service, the applicant can avoid having to submit his/her original passport or other foreign status and identity documents with the ITIN application. Submitting original documentation (such as an original passport) by mail to the IRS is never a good idea, especially when the IRS keeps the original documentation for at least six (6) to eight (8) weeks. In addition to certifying the required supporting documentation, we facilitate the entire ITIN application process by ensuring that the ITIN form is fully and correctly completed and a fully completed US tax return or documentation to support an exception is included. The IRS is extremely picky when it comes to how the ITIN application is completed. The smallest error in the ITIN application will cause a long delay or a rejection letter to be issued. Even for the most knowledgeable and detail-oriented applicant, it is a frustrating and complicated process.
As an IRS Acceptance Agent, our ITIN applications are always processed first. Thus, an individual wanting to get an ITIN number as quickly as possible would be advised to use our ITIN application service instead of attempting to apply on his/her own.
